Hu Jun Di родилась в провинции Цзилинь на севере Китая в 1962 году.

В разгар «Культурной революции» его семья переехала в город город Чунцин. где он смог тайно обучаться живописи у известного китайского художника.

После революции он продолжил свое обучение в Southwest Educational College.

Его талант проявляется в гармоничном сочетании традиционной китайской живописи и западно-европейской культуры, сохраняя при этом слиянии яркую индивидуальность.
